Today was Sophia's 4 month check up. She is doing wonderfully. She weights in at 13 pounds 15 ounces and is 25 1/2 inches long. She also had a series of shots today and just gives as much as a wimper and she is done complaining.
Per Dr. Jim, we can start her on cereal once a day. Just a couple of Tablespoons a day via spoon. We'll see how this goes . At around five months, she will then start on veggies. Yikes!!! I asked about her now waking up once a night after she was sleeping through the night. Dr. Jim said that this is a phase babies go through after they have been sleeping through the night and typically, the babies just want some attention. So, Dr. Jim suggested we either keep going on with feeding her in the night for another month, or we can just let her cry it out. So, Mama and Daddy will have a discussion to figure out how we want to work this out.
Well, better get back to the baby. She is rolling over onto her stomach quite well now, so I don't want to leave her too long. ---Mici
